Quick and Dirty Transformation Tricks

Boys to Girls – Girls to Boys

and Everyone In Between!

Boys to Girls:

Make Up:

Eyes

  • Eyeshadow
    • Use a light coloured eyeshadow all the way up to the brow line.
    • Use a slight amount of dark shadow from the outer edge of your eye (by your temples) under the crease in your eyelid.

  • Eyeliner
    • Use eyeliner lightly and only from the middle of your eyes towards your temples on both the top and bottom. Don’t connect the lines at the corner on either side.

Cheeks

  • Blush
    • If you have a light skin tone, use a light coloured and pink blush
    • if you have a darker skin tone, use a more purple blush.
    • Apply the blush to the cheekbones and the tops of the sunken parts of your face when you suck in your cheeks.

Lips

  • Lipstick
    • Use flat lipstick colours (not shiney).
    • Don’t define the top point of your lips.
  • Lipliner
    • You don’t have to use lipliner
    • If you use a lip liner, it should be either the same shade as your lipstick or 1-2 shades darker.

Covering 5 o’clock shadow

  • Covering dark facial hair
    • mix a SMALL amount of red lipstick in with grease foundation and apply lightly and evenly.
  • Covering light facial hair
    • Use regular cover up cream to cover lighter shades of stubble.

Hair

Wigs

  • Put on a wig cap and tuck all of your hair in the wig cap
  • Put on the wig
  • Comb or brush the wig

Clothing (creating a feminine shape)

Breasts

  • Bras
    • Put on the bra and stuff it!
    • If you are under 6′ tall and/or under 200 lbs use one pair of socks per breast
    • Over 6′ or over 200 lbs 2 socks

Waist

  • spandex waist cincher or other corset (if you have one)
  • belt at the waist with a belt or ribbon or fabric over dress/garment

Outfit Options

  • unless ample foundation garments (bra, corset, padding) are available, go with fitted tops and fuller skirts

Girls to boys:

Makeup and Facial Hair

Eyes

  • Eyeshadow
    • Darker tones above the crease of your eyelid, not below
  • Eyebrows
    • Use eyebrow pencil to lower and thicken eyebrows
    • Powder eyebrows
    • darken the corners of your eyes with powder lighter than for your brows

Face

  • Foundation and/or powder
    • darken around corners of:
      • mouth
      • mid-chin
      • nose, and
      • eyes

Stubble/5 o’clock shadow:

  • Draw in stubble with burnt wine cork (works the best)
  • Crumbled charcoal creates VERY black stubble

Facial Hair

  • Spirit Gum and Remover
    • SHORT
      • finely chop crepe hair with scissors until it is almost like a powder.
      • Apply an even light coat of spirit gum and spread crepe hair over the spriti gum.

    • MEDIUM
      • cut small amounts into even lengths, all the same length.
      • apply one row of hair at a time working your way up from the bottom of hair position
      • applying gum to face as you go.

    • LONG
      • Create two length sections of hair, medium and long, and apply row by row as above
      • Cut and shape to suit
      • (ALSO WORKS FOR CHEST AND ARMPIT HAIR!)

Hair

  • Tie hair back
    • Use bandanas, other scarves or hats
  • Grease back with hair gel or wax

Clothing (creating a masculine shape)

Eliminating Breasts:

  • Binding Shirt
    • may need help getting this on
  • Ace Bandage, Saran Wrap. Duct Tape over Saran Wrap
    • many layers are needed
    • start above and go well below breasts, starting under armpits and ending at base of rib cage.
    • Make WIDE FLAT wraps keeping even tight tension.
    • It helps to have a friend do the wrapping

Eliminating hips

  • Girdle
    • Using Spanx or other girdle type options help to reduce hips

Packing

  • Wear a pair of tighty whities
  • Put a packer in the pouch of the tighty whitie
  • Use a small pair of socks

Outfit options

Low waisted garments and long line shirts, like Wife or Husband Beaters are most convincing.
